Occupational Health

Occupational Health has become an increasing area of focus for Qatar with the large and growing numbers of male laborers, primarily working in the construction industry. The Occupational Health project will address a number of areas and some of the expected outcomes are; enhanced employer education and training on appropriate workplace conditions, improved workplace conditions across all sectors with a focus on health and safety, and the development and enforcement of health and safety standards across Qatar.

As the National Health Strategy Program 2011-2016 draws to a close, project information is currently being updated and will be available in the coming weeks.

For enquiries please contact the Program Management Office at the Ministry of Public Health.
