Community Pharmacies Strategy

The Community Pharmacies project will develop a community pharmacies strategy, supported by appropriate policy and procedures that will define the role of community pharmacies in delivering health services in Qatar in the future. The overarching aim is to decrease the reliance on hospitals for filling drug prescriptions, leading to increased efficiency, enhanced access to pharmaceutical care and increased patient satisfaction from receiving  more services in more locations.

As the National Health Strategy Program 2011-2016 draws to a close, project information is currently being updated and will be available in the coming weeks.

For enquiries please contact the Program Management Office at the Ministry of Public Health.
