Healthcare Infrastructure Master Plan

Qatar is expected to continue to significantly increase hospital bed capacity in the next few years to meet rising demand for services as the population grows. The expansion requires significant additional coordination to ensure the right services are developed in the right locations. To optimize the opportunities and mitigate the risks of expansion, Qatar is developing a 'Qatar Health Facilities 20 year Strategic Master Plan' and a 'Qatar Health Facilities 5 year Action Plan'.

As the National Health Strategy Program 2011-2016 draws to a close, project information is currently being updated and will be available in the coming weeks.

For enquiries please contact the Program Management Office at the Ministry of Public Health.
